Solid Shampoo bars are a great way to cut down on plastic waste. The bars are also great for traveling as the bars can be used for the body also. These bars are pH balnced for hair and skin. Keep bar dry between washing in a well drained  soap dish. These bars are 80% surfactants so keep them dry and they will last longer.
